Books Read thus Far…

I try to read on weekends and just edit during the weekdays. My favorite genre to read would be interracial romance books. I’ve just been so attracted to these lately, I can’t get enough of them. I need to have a list of interracial romance novels I’ve read.

Well, I can be pretty brutal when it comes to reviewing them. I usually give reviews on Goodreads. One book I managed to read in no time was Because You Loved Me by Lena Hart. Great fast pace book.

I know its not interracial romances, but I have to admit, I have read Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James. Guilty pleasure read. I know what your thinking. I was coerced to read it by a friend. I’m not a big fan of the writing (not sure if my writing is any better), but its original. Now, everyone wants to copy because it was such a big hit. Ah, well.

I have read all of the A Song of Ice and Fire books as well. George R. R. Martin amazes me with, what is now, 2,000 or more characters. These characters are well developed even the minor ones. My least favorite would be Feast for Crows. It dragged, but the Dance of Dragons picked up immediately. I don’t have the heart to go GRRM with my characters. I love them so much! I’d cry as I write them off.

I’m really excited about this book The Legacy by Necole Ryse. It’s coming out on the 17th of June, and sounds very interesting. I saw it on blackgirlnerds.com which is a great site as well.

Keep Writing!
